In 2016, we dropped out of college and emptied our bank account to put a deposit down on this workshop. This was the beginning of our custom furniture business. Hi, I’m Dylan, the founder of Proven Hands. Making things has always been my passion, and in 2016, my now-wife Molly and I turned that passion into Woodbrew, a custom furniture business in Fairhope, AL. We started sharing our projects on YouTube, and it quickly grew into a full-time adventure.

Proven Hands is my next step—a way to keep creating, support my growing family, and give back to the trades I care so much about. It’s all about preserving craftsmanship and honoring the hardworking people who make it happen.

Where It Began

My passion for making began at a very early age when I would help my dad work on projects around the house.

My First Workbench

I started posting my creations on YouTube in 2011 at age 14. This video shows a heartwarming look at my first business and workbench setup. I threw together some folding tables and started modifying gaming consoles for fun and even as a small business.
