~the transparency guide~
American Cotton
Farmers are the backbone of America. Without them, you and I don't eat, wear clothing, or drive cars.
Fabric Made In USA
The cotton is processed and turned in to fabric all within the USA using dyes made in the USA.
Cut & Sewn In USA
Each shirt is cut and sewn by skilled American workers paid fair wages in healthy workplaces.
Printed In USA
We print all the shirts in house using materials made in USA. Even our woven labels are made in USA.
we don't hide our suppliers
Check out how Bayside Apparel makes our tees. We don’t hide our suppliers. We proudly share them to stand by our commitment to transparency and supporting American-made businesses.
Without them, our shirts wouldn’t be possible. While others "protect their secrets," many are using the same cheap, white-labeled products from overseas.
We’re not afraid to share where we source because we want to lead by example and challenge others to invest in U.S. suppliers, even though it costs more.
Our Shirt Tags
We leave the Bayside tag in our shirts to proudly showcase the American-made origin of our materials. It’s a testament to our commitment to transparency and supporting U.S. manufacturing.
If you prefer a tagless experience, simply use a pair of scissors to remove the tag.
Most brands tear away the original tag and replace it with their own. When they are spending $1.50 on a shirt made overseas in unethical facilities, it’s no surprise they don’t want you to know.
Only products designed and made by or exclusively for us will carry our tag alone.
Sewing On Woven Labels
We sew on our hem labels one at a time in our workshop. This takes a considerable amount of time, but these labels take our shirts to the next level.
These labels are made by Beth and Greg at Custom Labels4u in Florida.
Pressing In Our Tags
We press in our own tags one by one in our workshop. The whole family gets involved😅
These labels are made by Supacolor in Atlanta Georgia.
Pressing In Designs
We couldn't stand the poor quality of prints we got from POD services, so we searched high and low for the best possible printing method for our shop and invested in the equipment to do it ourselves.
This is wear our shirts really stand apart from the rest. We use a hybrid DTF/Screen printing transfer that has been independently tested to over 80+ wash cycles. Most DTF shirts are only tested to 40 washes. This means we get the durability of the highest quality screen printing inks available with the endless color options of DTF.
🔥These transfers are hot pressed at over 300 degrees deep into the fibers of our shirts.
These transfers are made by Supacolor in Atlanta Georgia.
